Amperity is a US-based, AI-first Customer Data Platform. Our multi-patented technology powers identity resolution and customer data infrastructure for 400+ global brands — including Alaska Airlines, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and DICK'S Sporting Goods — stitching together billions of records to power real-time, personalized customer experiences.

We're building our engineering hub in Argentina from the ground up, and we're looking for the senior engineers who will shape it. As one of the first ICs here, you won't be filling a seat on an established team — you'll help define the architecture, the standards, and the culture of a founding team, with real ownership from day one.

* Identity resolution and deduplication across billions of customer records, at petabyte scale.
* Large-scale data pipelines built on Apache Spark, Kafka, and Presto.
* Full-stack product surfaces and agentic UIs that let marketers explore and activate massive customer datasets in near-real-time.
* Probabilistic and machine-learning systems at the core of the platform.
* AI woven through both the product and the way we build it.

We hire across three first-class tracks — **Backend/Core**, **Front-End**, and **Full-Stack**. A strong front-end or full-stack background is a different track, not a lesser one.

* 6+ years building and operating production-grade software, with genuine end-to-end ownership.
* Depth in at least one of: large-scale distributed systems and data infrastructure (backend/core), or high-performance product interfaces at scale (front-end/full-stack).
* A builder's instinct — you've designed systems from scratch, owned them in production, and lived with the consequences of your own decisions.
* Strong engineering fundamentals: the kind that hold up without a co-pilot.
* Excited about functional programming. We work in Clojure/ClojureScript — no prior experience required; onboarding takes about a month.
* Fluent professional English. Our team is distributed across the US and works day-to-day in English.

You don't need all of it. Curiosity and depth matter more than checking every box.

* **Remote** from anywhere in Argentina, with a small number of meaningful in-person gatherings — periodic Buenos Aires coworks and Seattle onsites roughly twice a year.
* **Full-time employment** with a **USD salary paid locally** and full legal benefits: paid vacation, aguinaldo, premium health coverage (prepaga), and participation in Amperity's equity plan.
* We level honestly to scope. We're hiring senior ICs, and the right profile will be placed at the level their experience genuinely supports.

This role offers 100% remote flexibility, it is strictly bound to our local engineering hub in Argentina. Due to local legal, tax, and payroll entity structures, all candidates for this specific position **must be physically located in and authorized to work within Argentina**.
